Whitetail Habitat Mix
The classic whitetail food plot, featuring northern
winter hardy clovers, Athena (early maturity)
Rape and Oasis(disease resistant) Chicory.
These spring seeded components will provide a
permanent food plot base. (Maintain the plot by
frost seeding clovers every two years in late winter
or early spring when frost is heaving.) Clip the
plants in September leaving 4 to 6 inch stubble,
to maximize eatability of forage during hunting
season. Work up the seed bed, drill or broadcast
seed and incorporate at a depth of 1/4 - 1/2 inch.

Whitetail Ultimate Mix
This formulation will greatly increase antler mass of
bucks. Designed to provide highest TDN forage,
for intensive grazing. Best seeded in spring or late
summer. Allow 60 - 90 days for suitable growth.

Whitetail Fall Brassica Mix
This provides deer with winter nutrition after
clover is frosted off. Easy to establish, with a
minimum of seed bed preparation in late summer
or early fall. It can be overseeded into existing
plots. (Be careful not to destroy existing food plots
as deer will literally tear up the ground to access
turnips, even digging through the snow cover.)
It will provide forage well into the fall season,
down to 24 degree night time temperatures.
Work up the seed bed, broadcast seed and
incorporate at a depth of 1/4 inch.

Wildlife Milo Mix
Deer often exhibit a reluctance to move from
the open woods, after leaf drop, into open fields.
A buffer strip of Wildlife Milo Mix will provide a
comfort tansition zone along the outside edge
of the tree line. The Wildlife Milo Mix combines
the best attributes of both the WGF(red endopserm)
and WWF(cream endosperm), for the extended
seed head and winter cover. Seeding rate is
25 lbs/acre. Work up the seed bed and drill or
broadcast seed and cover to a depth of 1/4 to
1/2 inch.

WGF (Wild game food ) Sorgum
WWF is a red endosperm(tannin)type
grain sorghum.  It reaches Mid 
Maturity at 50 days, attaining a
height of 26 to 30 inches.  
Makes an excellent winter cover.  
Deer will eat seeds at maturity.

It reaches mid maturity at 65 days,
attaining a height of 41 to 44 inches.
Seeds makes great choice fall/winter
feed for: Pheasant, turkey, doves,
quail, waterfowl
and deer.

CHUFA (Spanish gound almonds)
Wild turkeys readily scratch the chufa nutlets,
that provides needed carbohydrates and protein.
Chufa food plots should be an acre in size and
exposed to full sunlight. Choose a well drained
site away from streams or rivers. Adjust pH 5.5
to 7.0 with lime if necessary and work up the soil
and plant 30 to 40 lbs of chufa at a depth of 1 to 2
inches. It may be necessary to lighty disk the
chufa patch in the fall to aid the turkeys in feeding
on the chufa.

Seeding Rate: 30 to 49 lbs. per Acre
