Tekapo Orchardgrass - Tekapo is a winter hardy,
highly digestible medium-late maturity orchardgrass.
It is especially adapted to the demands of intensive close grazing.  Tekapo is noted for its soft leaves, high feed value and digestiblity.  Tekapo is both endophyte and alkaloid free.
Seed at 12-15 lbs alone or 5-6 lbs./acre in forage

ProFit Orchardgrass - ProFit is a late maturity orchardgrass, bred primarily for superior hay tonnage production.  It has excellent winter hardiness, disease resistance and stand persistence.  ProFit's impressive dry matter production, results in increase profits.

Persist Orchardgrass - Persist is easily established and has excellent seeding vigor.  Use of clover or other legumes can also increase persistence and yeild.  Persist is similar in maturity date to Potomac but consistently produces more forage later in the season.  Persist is adapted from the northern to the extreme southern range of the middle southern USA.

Harvestar Orchardgrass - Harvestar is an improved, late maturity orchardgrass selected for increased hay yields.  It demonstrates good heat and drought tolerance.  Harvestar's spreading and more aggressive crown and nutritive value makes it suitable for grazing. It is very compatible with alfalfa.

Lakota Prairie Bromegrass - Very palatable, high yielding forage.  Improved disease resistance.  More winter hardy and quicker stand establishment than Matua.  More drought tolerant than many other cool-season grasses.

Goliath Forage Type Tall Fescue is an excellent choice for fall stock piling for winter grazing.  Best growth is in the spring and fall months.  Goliath is endopyhte free and has deep roots for both heat and drought tolerant.  It is very compatible with both white and red clovers.
       Seed at 15 lbs./acre in forage mixtures of 
                    25 lbs./acre with clovers.

Mac Beth Meadow Brome is very winter hardy and does well under MIG (Managed Intensive Grazing) in northern area.  It initiates early spring growth, but do not begin spring grazing until it is 8 to 12 inches tall. Mac Beth can be utilized for both hay and pastures, also provides good summer poduction due to its short rhizomes.
        Seed at 10 lbs./acre in forage mixtures.
